I’ve submitted some work to the Ridgeside Art gallery for their Pretendium show. I’m very excited!!!
I was originally planning on mailing this off to my family in Rupert, but I ended up liking it so much that I thought it would be a good idea to submit it for the auction. It’s got a starting bid of $50, and hopefully someone will appreciate it enough to perhaps double the cost…
That aside, I will look at how much it is to make this into prints or postcards!
It’s a new icon for myself!!
Happy Valentines Day!! I have a tradition with my wife, Andrea, where we draw each other new desktops/phone backgrounds for the year. We’ve been doing this for about sevenish years, I think?
Also, here’s the sketches from the Valentines Sketch event!
It’s Witchsona Week! It officially starts in the last full week of January, so I made it just in time.
I like to think that I would be some sort of plant witch, obsessed with collecting normal things that I consider beautiful. I love to amass beautiful objects to look at–rocks, acorns, feathers, stamps, etc–and display them around me in different cycles so every collection can be cleaned and rest.
In terms of announcements: this year’s hourly comic day will be late! Usually, I like to do it no matter how busy I am, but on the actual day of February 1st…I will be driving! For eight hours or more! To our new home!!! It’s very exciting. I might make a comic out of the events (depends on how I am able to keep up with noting things down) since it will possibly be the most exciting thing I do all year, but I estimate that it won’t get posted until after the new internet gets hooked up (Either the 3rd or 6th).
Back at it again! The upcoming zine is cat-themed and it features comics, activities, and a HUGE amount of very strange cats!
I’m putting the book together now, but I am still occasionally stopping and drawing another page or two (hehehe). The end result is looking to be 30+ pages! Check out a few small snippets of the master copy:
