    I really like how these turned out!

    I made them for a Minecraft birthday party for me and Remy and a child. The adults loved the stickers but the wee ones were not happy the creeper was subdued by the cats. It was a surprise to me.

    Sakchai, Cody’s character for WoA. He specializes in the Drunken Monk style, but his character has changed into more of a heartfelt guy who unknowingly falls into the alcoholism bit.

  • reverend peanuts for all

    look at all these little boys! i made over a dozen little raven statuettes for christmas. they’re named after rev, charlie’s companion raven in pathfinder! it was a lot of fun to work with a different medium and try new things and they turned out pretty well! it’s air dry clay, acrylic, and acrylic varnish.

    the card up top is modeled after all those little cards you get with poorly translated goodies to make him feel more like a weird toy from another world.

    I decided to use Goblin Week to develop the goblin race in the World of Adaptation. Karen and I have been sculpting them to be a whole different thing, wanting to divert from the Tolkien roots and the stereotypes that have long followed the goblins.

    So we developed the Wee! Here’s the 7 image series.

    We knew we wanted them to be based on dogs, and I wanted them to be traditionally small and crafty creatures. The dog bit made them especially cute. I also figured out the general fashion I wanted for them— they’re all wearing rompers, usually,

    There’s a redraw meme going on on Twitter and I’ve been in a bit of a creative rut lately, so I jumped on in! I think everyone about my age saw this when they were young and it held a pretty great influence over them. The thing about it was it was written and drawn by a 16 year old girl! It got published in three languages and even if a lot of people make fun, you can’t deny that that’s an astonishment.

    I was wondering how she’s doing, so I looked her up, and she gives a bit of a talk about it in the linked thread.

    Gotta say I relate. When I was a teen, I got big into Homestuck and that stuff still haunts me to this day. That said, I didn’t have anywhere near the amount of engagement as this book did!!
