  • Commission – Icon – Thaitas

    More Thaitas, thanks to Karen!!

  • Commission – Full Body – Thaitas

Thanks to Karen for continuing to commission characters from her Dungeons & Dragons campaign, The Big One!

Thaitas is a former slave (sube) and wields magic over light.

  • Commission – Icon – Tirel

  • Commission – Full Body – Tirel

A commission from wonderful Karen of a fellow character in her Big One campaign!

  • Charlie Icon

I love playing tabletop games…I play a huge variety of characters, but the most challenging one is this guy, Charlie Vanderbee. He’s a rude, rich noble who is horribly racist against the lower castes of the particular world that he’s in (mixed blood of dwarves/elves/humans).

The point is to try to make conflict in the party for more character drama! People love to hate him, and he’s so frustrating, but he is slowly changing. It’s rough to roleplay as someone who is diametrically opposed to your own thinking process, but it’s actually really rewarding to sift through complicated emotions and try to act out a character who has no choice but to learn to love those around him.

    Plus: he’s the team’s healer, so…

  • Commission: Thandi Icon

Lovely Karen comissioned this icon of their character Thandi, from the awesome Dungeons & Dragons campaign The Big One. Thandi is an enthusiastic teacher for the player characters, and guides them along the story.

I am a character in the campaign as well!

  • Hourly Comics Day 2019

I forgot to drop this in for everyone!!

  • Icons & January Update

Check out these Christmas/New Years icons I pumped out for the JAM last month! I’m doing these monthly for us for the funsies, but you can commission me to get one of your own.

    Jan 2019 Update

Woooow we made it to 2019! Thanks, everyone for your support!

I’ve had a rough latter half of 2018 health-wise, but I’m giving my all!

I’ve got another job to supplement art stuff now, so the pressure has eased off some. I’m working on maintaining my health as a priority still (which will be missed updates while I work on catching up with that big ol buffer) but I am looking forward to now having the time management to do what I need to get done!

Nuzlocke is back already, and I want to finish it this year. I don’t think I will do another Nuzlocke comic after this one (I like it, but it gets tedious). I will finish this, though, absolutely.

I’m thinking about what I want to do about A Bad Neighborhood. It might be delayed for another month or so while I work out my productivity schedule.

Pretty much, I’m almost to the level of regular functionality, and I would really love to thank you guys for sticking around and supporting me!

  • December 2018 Update

    Lifted from the Patreon:
    (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ 𝒽𝑒𝓁𝓁𝑜 𝒶𝓁𝓁! ♥
①  I am mostly recovered from my recent attacks! I’m getting into a new working routine now, which includes a second freelance job, so I might struggle a bit still to readjust. All this means is that I may miss an update once in a while, but I’ll do what I can to avoid this.
Brucey & I will resume on January 1st! I’m building a buffer of it now so that no updates are missed.
③ In 2019, I’m aiming to release at least one zine a month! Hopefully, on occasion, ones that are larger than minis.
Debris of Daily Life will continue its twice-weekly updates as always.
A Bad Neighborhood will pick up some time in January. The site is also due for a facelift.
⑥ My website has been fixed up and looks much better than it did! I also found out that a bunch of the connected sites were down (Brucey & I, A Bad Neighborhood, etc) due to a pre-installed plugin. If you were wondering what was wrong, it’s been fixed!
    𝚠𝚘𝚠!
    Some site specific news:
    1. I’ll be dropping stuff here more frequently!
    2. The art albums have been updated and a huge amount of art has been added, going from 2011 forward.
    3. The shop still needs some work, and will slowly migrate to site-side shopping for digital zines.

Finally, thanks for reading! Here’s some sketches I did.

    A Pokemon Sapphire Nuzlocke

A short Nuzlocke comic running 59 pages.

It was cut short due to the loss of my entire party, which is a risk in Nuzlocke challenges. It was a fun project while it lasted!

  • Small Sketch Gathering Post

Here’s a bunch of stuff I’ve drawn this month!! Hope you enjoy it!!

  • VISION

    Hello all!

I’ve submitted some work to the Ridgeside Art gallery for their Pretendium show. I’m very excited!!!

I was originally planning on mailing this off to my family in Rupert, but I ended up liking it so much that I thought it would be a good idea to submit it for the auction. It’s got a starting bid of $50, and hopefully someone will appreciate it enough to perhaps double the cost…

That aside, I will look at how much it is to make this into prints or postcards!

  • Self-Portrait

It’s a new icon for myself!!

  • Put my Bones in!

I have just finished my move!! A lot ended up going on, so this is the first thing I’ve drawn since we finished packing. I passed out all day today, and ended up dreaming that I met a god. He was just a lonely old guy who made lots of stuff because he was bored.

  • Witchsona Week

It’s Witchsona Week! It officially starts in the last full week of January, so I made it just in time.

I like to think that I would be some sort of plant witch, obsessed with collecting normal things that I consider beautiful. I love to amass beautiful objects to look at–rocks, acorns, feathers, stamps, etc–and display them around me in different cycles so every collection can be cleaned and rest.

In terms of announcements: this year’s hourly comic day will be late! Usually, I like to do it no matter how busy I am, but on the actual day of February 1st…I will be driving! For eight hours or more! To our new home!!! It’s very exciting. I might make a comic out of the events (depends on how I am able to keep up with noting things down) since it will possibly be the most exciting thing I do all year, but I estimate that it won’t get posted until after the new internet gets hooked up (Either the 3rd or 6th).

  • Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon Countdown

This is for the Pokemon Countdown taking place here!

  • Drawtober 2017

    I’m writing this in 2021.

My first completed Inktober Drawtober 2017 series was based around Rowlets. Pokemon Sun & Moon had just come out and I was obsessed with my Rowlet, the cute little thing. I was in a bit of a rut, so this was the perfect thing to get me going again. I don’t think I’ve done a complete Drawtober before or since.

  • Commission: Family Cats

    meow
L to R: Boots, Jersey, Moth, Smokey (RIP), and Spooky

A long time ago, I was commissioned to draw the family cats for my mother-in-law to use on stationary. She commissioned me again to draw Spooky, an adopted feral who came to us last winter.

Anyone who has been following me will recall a series of progressively worse happenings: my tablet drivers not working, Photoshop crashing repeatedly, and the inability to run most of my programs. The commission got put on hold.

In the meanwhile, Spooky gave birth to five kittens. One was adopted almost right away, but the other four stayed with us. We chose to adopt Moth initially, and then Jersey, picking them both up in July. Boots and Smokey were left with Spooky.

Then: my computer went through a mauling. It was an HP all-in-one and so if something happens to one part of the computer, it happens to the WHOLE computer. The monitor had gotten pushed and smashed into a water glass, which in turn spilled all over the dang thing. My mother-in-law covered the costs of the new computer, so to thank her, I finished the commission and did the four kittens still in the family.

So, in summation, we should all applaud my mother-in-law for not only being a generous soul, but also for enabling me to progress my career as an artist! She’s a fantastic person and I’m looking forward to seeing how she utilizes her stationary!

  • Wanderlust

    [ngg src=”galleries” ids=”8″ display=”basic_slideshow” gallery_height=”800″]

Wanderlust is a short proof-of-concept I did in 2013. It was meant to eventually be expanded upon after a longer, more complete script was written, but ended up not fleshing out.

  • Homestuck Fanworks

Back when I was 17 I had a special interest in Homestuck, so I would be remiss not to include it in my giant trove of art. You can also check it all out on Tumblr as well if you’re still there.
