you know i was a bit worried sometimes about perhaps the difference between building my own site from scratch and using wordpress as a base (i get very frustrated very easily) but i think i am not going to worry about it. i have way too many projects that i want to do and only a few hours every evening to do them in. i try to get to bed by 9 pm and be asleep by 10:30ish at the latest.

time is a tight commodity. all of this takes so long to do!! and i have so much to say. i don’t think i knew how much i needed an outlet for thoughts and little things until yesterday. i mean i had an inkling that journaling in my journal wasn’t gonna cut it but still.

firstly, i added a fun stuff page. complete with a new banner (you can click it to go there)

i’m going to put my little collectibles there as i wander around the indie web. they’re like little trophies. i’ll also probably start dropping more banners and stamps and things like that… it’ll pretty much be a link hub, i suppose? i might add other things there as well as it occurs to me.

i’ve been cleaning up the site but there are a lot of misc projects i would like to get done and i have a backlog of art and things to put up. PLUS there’s good saint madoc to take care of. right now gsm is just a sort of sad list of nothing, so i want to liven it up a bit. i have a million and one ideas so stuffing them into a handful of sites is a bit eeeeeeh… eh.

some ideas for this and gsm? glad you asked (you didn’t but i’m sharing):

  • a character area to display art of characters (aside from charlie and thandi, who on the gsm site)
  • links and adoptables available to others so i can contribute to the wider world out there
  • i wish to join a webring!
  • more articles (namely the ones i have researched already)
  • archiving my oldest comics
  • if i can find my oldest reviews i wonder if i can pull and archive those? they are all on tumblr… 👀

far off goals:

  • if i can get a NAS up and running someday, i will be pulling this site off of hostgator to host on my own, period. the memory will be so much better and i don’t NEED unlimited bandwidth. i’m not being mobbed here. i’m on the indie web, not the mall in the 90’s

mostly i’m on a mission to archive my stuff on the internet. archive and make it available to myself and my friends. i don’t really have any need to do anything else with it. i do like the idea of someone stumbling onto it and enjoying themselves for a little while before moving on though 🙂

anyway today i also finally watched the latest episode of the glendale archives

this is the scariest episode yet. i am TERRIFIED for him. i am so worried. he JUST taught us how to make a new soup and salad.

there is not enough time in the day to do much of anything anymore.
