In Shadowsville, a supernatural land that exists between this world and the next, there lives a pair of spooky vampires. Well, not\u00a0that<\/em>\u00a0spooky\u2014the beautiful Noss (the Nosferatu) and her adopted daughter Zakuro don\u2019t even suck human blood, since that\u2019s gross and mean. A juice-box equivalent sustains them as they frolic around their town shopping for anti-sun accessories, meeting up with other monster buddies, and supporting each other like a real mother and daughter\u2026because blood is less important when you find a good substitute.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

noss and zakuro is SO cute and VERY funny. i love little zakuro’s expressions and i hope i get to read more soon. the western comic influence is pretty big. there was a variety of influences i noted, the biggest being mike mignola (you can definitely see it in the heavy blacks of the first screen shot i’m putting in). there’s also a bit of peanuts flavoring and then another from a gag manga my brain doesn’t remember the name of atm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
