“I’m Not Meat”… It’s a joke about the Japanese slang “carnivore”, talking about someone being flirtatious, confident, and self-assured in the dating scene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea is that a dude who completely LOVES nature and animals… also sees women as beasts, literally. He will hallucinate them as animals and it’s near-debilitating. It all stems from him seeing his mother fuck by accident and not being able to deal with it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In any case, the point is… this guy is being hunted for sex. His biggest fear is fucking, pretty much, but because of his distant and respectful nature (and his “hot bod”), women fall over themselves to mount him. His mission through the series is not to be raped.<\/em> It’s played for comedy, I get it, because he literally treats them as animals trying to devour him. He uses methods for surviving animal attacks to get out of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bro probably wouldn’t have been able to do it without his love interest, Azumi, calling him out for not fighting against his attackers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
