The book picks up EXACTLY where the first one drops off. Considering this was a web novel first, I’m not surprised\u2014 these aren’t standalone books, as it was written chapter by chapter into oblivion. It took me a second to get back into the groove before everything came back to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It wraps up the Plaza of Glory incident, which ends advantageously for Cale. He immediately secures a credit card from the crown prince that can buy only two things, no matter their value (“two pieces of bread or two mountains, it didn’t matter”). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, he meets whales, resolves their problems, meets the Queen of the Jungle, resolves her<\/em> problems, and then he sits on a fat stack of cash unlike any other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
