I noticed this a touch when Season 2 opened up and they just offhandedly mentioned Modean’s burnt down between seasons, but this season it jumps out at ya. Season 2’s last thirty seconds was Rosie coming out of her truck with a stud for Stormy, absolutely ringing Wayne’s bell, followed by his ex Angie who ran up to confess she wanted Wayne back, followed by a phone call from Tanis saying she was pregnant. In the background, Jonesy and Reilly are getting ready to fight Wayne to regain Katy, and the skids have the same idea, while Katy is getting into the car to get a modeling job in the city.
It leaves the viewers (me and my roomies) sitting there like, holy shit, what? And absolutely eager to get to the next season.
Next season tackles each thing in less than ten seconds because it happens off screen.
Tanis gets checked in on by Wayne after a barfight. Ten seconds of conversation shows she aborted because she wasn’t ready and Wayne gives her a nod and respects her choice and cut to next scene. Later, Angie is shown to have become a puck bunny to fuck her way through the roster of the Letterkenny Irish. All the big dudes who Jonesy and Reilly need to overcome are already overcome and being undone by the puck bunny. Katy has gotten back from the city with male models in tow, declaring modeling sucks. Rosie shows up riding tandem with Wayne for a scant few seconds. The skids have broken up again and a clown is invading their space.
The episode is dedicated to fart jokes.
