She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man
Bro I started writing this right in the middle of the episode. When does it become enjoyable? I watched through episode one. It’s one of those series that could have benefitted from in media res but here we are, just… voiceover explaining the entire concept of the world. It’s a video game, they are super…

I’m Not Meat Vol. 1-3
Harem Scale H: Kunio does the bare minimum of heroism; he’s generally the victim here. A: This dude has terrible luck and is the prey of a bunch of carnivores. R: He’s in love, though, he legit falls in love. E: Maybe I should have put a 5 for ecchi. It’s JUST short of hentai.…

Outbride: Beauty and the Beasts Vol 2 & 3
Harem Scale H: Our lead does not have many opportunities to be heroic, as she is an unwilling victim in this series. A: She is very aware that she is obligated to fuck four different dudes. R: Romance elements are there but the focus is on the hentai. E: It’s hentai. M: I knew what…

Even Given the Worthless Appraiser Class, I’m Actually the Strongest
Harem Scale H: Ein is a good shounen protag. He’s selfless, determined, does the “always stands up” thing, and sticks to his guns, always. A: Ein views this as a journey to give Yuri her family back and does not think of it as harem building. R: Yuri x Ein is clear endgame, however the…

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time
Bro, so, uh. This opening has absolutely no reason to go this hard. It legitimately looks better than the actual episodes. I. I admittedly. Have just sat and watched it a few times. The fuckin dinosaur and everything. Honestly, I really want to read the manga now because I. I want to see what else……
M's Media Menagerie
Thoughtful Dumping Grounds
Trope: Waifus by Design
A cast designed especially to appeal to viewers, covering a variety of personalities and designs to offer choices to the viewer.
Welcome to the Menagerie.
Here is where M logs their media activity. Partly because Goodreads is forgettable and keeping physical logs is harder. Sometimes M writes a lot. Sometimes M doesn’t write enough. It doesn’t matter. This is just a for-fun little blog so that M can remember what they thought about whatever they watched or read or played or. Whatever.
What is M?
I read. Voraciously. I have subscriptions to those book things on digital retailers. I consume books at nearly all hours. The hours I don’t spend reading? I’m writing. I’m drawing. I have a problem. I have a problem in that I love to read things that are in the same vein repeatedly. Book journals don’t work and as much as I text my friends screenshots of book passages, it doesn’t scratch the itch. Now I’m going to be doing… tiny… tiny book reports.
