Happy Gilmore, mourning the loss of his wife and without the funds to provide for his daughter’s opportunity to train as a ballet dancer in France, returns to golf and fights surgically modified super-golfers in a high-speed golf tournament while struggling with his alcoholism and self-hate.
That’s the best summary I got and it’s really fucking funny to me. This movie really strengthened the theory that Adam Sandler makes movies just to give people jobs and fuck around. The comedy hails from the 90s era physical comedy while trying ts best to remain relevant. It’s mostly made for people who really loved the original film and just enjoy star-studded ridiculous casts.
Unexpectedly: Bad Bunny played my favorite character.
