it’s from the perspective of a space alien who does not understand negative emotions, the sort of lil guy who is outside of his genre. he tries desperately to save someone and make them happy but he is out of his depth. Like. Severely.
it’s a study in desperation. the lengths people will go. there is no black and white: people are good and bad, and suffering being both cyclical and deeply relatable. the depth of feelings that children have compared to the sort of things they are told, the no-simple-fix reality of life.
