I enjoy this manga as a gentle harem subversion— Belgrieve isn’t really looking for a companion, and all the characters that show up that would traditionally be part of the harem are actual people. He isn’t interested in their bodies. The attractive women are people first, but dressed for the audience. Such as our new young female character:
It’s the bare minimum fan service.
The next generation of heroes is women.
I think Belgrieve is about to be a dad again.
