“I’ve got an otome isekai—” Say no more, I’m on it.
I ended up absorbing five volumes of this Kirby-style and I’m just waiting to get #6 because I am aching, I am dying. I’m a fan of the time loop stuff in the final loop. When it’s not the final loop, I am aghast. “Look at everything she will be losing!” And she fucking… she fucking gave it all up… to fix everything… she resets the loop a few volumes in and I
Waaah
I find this take on the otome isekai interesting. The heroine is stuck in a save file, moving between her true self (the person in the otome) and a woman on the outside, also herself, and yet not. If she leaves the world alone, then she proceeds with life, but loading a game means resetting the loop. Harsh, bro.
But with her experience with everything, she’s determined to better life not just for herself, but for all the people that became her beloved friends. They helped her gain power and made her feel cherished, so of course she is going to save the world!
It’s a bittersweet read.
