Letty is not very good at being a dragon. Actually, he’s so terrible at it that his dad went and kicked him out of the house! What’s a skittish monster of myth to do in a world where everyone sees him as material for their next suit of armor? Why, find a safe place to call home, of course. With the help of a slightly evil elvish architect, Letty’s quest for the ultimate draconic domicile begins!

This series is the real reason I have the “Domestic Dragon” trope.
I also was going to pick “No One Lives in Fucking Houses Like These” except… well, in the series, there are creatures that specifically do.
Anyway, it’s a cute series that has a big emphasis on Friendship and home being the People you Love. It’s not ground-breaking by any means, but it’s just focused on giving the reader a bit of space to chill out.
The art style is the big thing here: the stylization sits in semi-realism, and it’s fascinating to see such funny situations when you can count the eyelashes on a character’s face. Like, you can look at the non-human creatures and clearly understand the anatomy. Scales and feathers are lovingly rendered. Clothing folds are beautifully drawn. You can look at Letty and imagine him in cuts of meat. It’s so solid.
Anyway, I think Remy’s kids would like this one. Or Karen! I think there is an anime. I may see if me and Karen can watch it.
