This is a Cinderella story, for sure. This girl is fucked over to hell and back because of a jealous cousin vying for the hand of the next head of the family. MC gets attacked by an enormous orangutan (heavily implied to have been raped), gets marked for life (literally tainted), and then suffers abuse for it. Her Prince Charming picks up on her existence and tasty blood-ness and whisks her away, later revealing he picked her up specifically because she’s so fucked up she would probably never leave him because she’s too scared to be treated poorly again. Lmao and yet I really enjoyed it. It’s that fun kinda fucked up. On to Volume 2.
