My name is Rebecca Flaum and I draw the strange things that visit me in the night. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. I started the 100 Days Project this past Spring expecting to draw a series of happy animals and cute things, but what came out of my pen ended up much stranger than I ever expected. The one hundred drawings that emerged from this project were dark and eerie, a series of spectral visions that seemed to compel my hand to bring them into our world.
Excellent art, strong inks and interesting texture work. It’s a 100 Days Project, quite impressive, and I enjoyed flipping through and finding the curious (and sometimes spooky) critters inside.
