Kondou is chronically ill

Seiichirou Kondou gets caught up in a summoning ritual and is transported to a parallel world called Romany Kingdom. Having worked day and night, he demands a job and joins the Royal Accounting Department. After narrowly surviving a tonic’s deadly side effects with the aid of magic, Seiichirou entrusts himself to Aresh, captain of the Third Royal Order, known as the Ice Prince.

(clapping) yaoiiii

I legitimately did not know the extent of Fuck or Die that this series has in it. I really thought it was an accounting anime with a side of gay romance. Not GAY ROMANCE!!!! with a bit of accounting.

If I’m honest? I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this dynamic. One dude angrily takes care of the workaholic? Catnip to me. Look at that. They have complicated feelings.

It’s very funny, actually, so I think I’m more than tempted to read the manga since this season ended with the first kiss initiated by Kondou instead of Aresh. I like the dynamic and the lingering question of what choice Kondou will make in the end when he has the ability to return to Japan. I don’t think he will go back. I really don’t.

But you never know… 👀

Oh yes, and the funniest thing that happened was when I got Karen to watch it with me and she started screaming when Aresh was taking off his clothes after the “I Need Your Consent” scene. “I don’t watch hentai with you in the room! Is this a hentai?! M! M!!!” She shielded herself with a pillow and everything before the scene was over in a blink. The pillow was lowered and she lowered her head. “There could have been a little more,” she said.

Welcome to the Menagerie.

Here is where M logs their media activity. Partly because Goodreads is forgettable and keeping physical logs is harder. Sometimes M writes a lot. Sometimes M doesn’t write enough. It doesn’t matter. This is just a for-fun little blog so that M can remember what they thought about whatever they watched or read or played or. Whatever.

What is M?

I read. Voraciously. I have subscriptions to those book things on digital retailers. I consume books at nearly all hours. The hours I don’t spend reading? I’m writing. I’m drawing. I have a problem. I have a problem in that I love to read things that are in the same vein repeatedly. Book journals don’t work and as much as I text my friends screenshots of book passages, it doesn’t scratch the itch. Now I’m going to be doing… tiny… tiny book reports.
