Once in a while I pick up this series thinking, was I mistaken? Why did I dislike it? It’s so very popular.
And then once that literal bunny girl appears, I remember. I remember this man has the stupidest harem on earth, and I hate them. I recall the manga. I remember I managed to get as far as the dragon who got something shoved in her ass that ended in her “defeat” and joining the group. For more ass play. I remember how much I just hated it.
The beginning is tolerable. I mean, it’s a classic isekai that follows main character Hajime as he struggles to survive and gains a bunch of powers (and subsequently gains the mannerisms and appearance of a very edgy little lad). After he meets his loli vampire wife, it begins to get uncomfortable. This is for horny lads who wants to see an overpowered MC have women hounding after him and… nothing else. The fights aren’t cool enough to make up for it, and none of the story is enough to make me want to watch.
Seriously. I’ve read and watched some truly heinous shit because my curiosity and interest outweighs dumb harems. Hell, there are harems I am completely fine with watching, because the characters are interesting enough to ignore the fact that it IS a harem.
This is not one. The second member joins and I realized, this is just about building the harem. They completely montage past the fighting for your life gettin’ real built parts to meet the ladies. The. Annoying. Ladies.
Uuuugh.
