bro i read this right after blood on the tracks and had the biggest mood whiplash. it’s badically a book that points out a bunch of the bl tropes that the author must absolutely love and find hilarious at the same time. they are absolutely right for making this book.
dude absolutely goes out of his way not to accidentally get into a bl situation, going so far as to study bl books in-universe to get the gist of it and avoid any situation that looks like it will turn out. he recognizes the tropes in real life and is very used to it. he is also aware he is in a manga.
it’s fairly funny. i enjoyed it and it was a good palate cleanser after getting the shit kicked out of me by a trauma series
