truth be told… i have not been reading many books that i own lately. not physically. i have been reading… webtoons. and manga. i have had a hard time focusing on words. perhaps i will have a runup for the last three months of the year since i am 18 books short of my 50 word-book goal, but it’s more likely i will meet my comic goal of 200 way early. it’s a shame i am not counting the cookbooks i am reading.

i did acquire a handful of cookbooks for adjusting my eating habits this month, and i finished collecting one of my favorite series (sweat & soap). i may end up rereading the series again now that i have it fully collected but it isn’t going to budge my unread pile since… well. i’ve read the whole damn thing already.
i updated the trope definitions a touch since i’ve been adding tropes for the various things i’ve read, but i have not gone back and added the new tropes to old reviews. forgive me for i will not do that.
a new slime has entered the pen. it’s elder! he is from THE ISEKAI DOCTOR, which I am currently reading. sad to say that he looks way cuter than the other slimes. sorry guys. maybe i will redo the other slimes someday. or maybe not. they’re cute in their own ways.

september may bring cozy vibes, but i am about to get very busy with yet more dr’s appointments. i may or may not get more reading done. we shall see.
there is no changes to the site that are planned so we’re still smooth sailing.
