Some say there is a world beyond this one, and from time to time, reality parts and we see beyond the strange things happen, we question what is real, and our assumptions about the order of this universe are thrown aside. These are “glitch in the matrix” stories. Host and narrator Auntie Matrix has amassed a following of over 500K followers on TikTok, and over 100K on Instagram. Her spine-tingling, mind-bending, and utterly destabilizing accounts of happenings are too spooky to be coincidence, and too unsettling to be of the world we thought we knew. This is a collection of Matrix’s greatest hits, with additional commentary from the internet’s emcee of the unexplainable.
Trying to read it was hard. I’d rather listen to it than read it… the writing skill and style of each story was wildly different, and though I enjoyed the very first story, it was followed up with stories I struggled to read because it was… not… great. It’s a pitfall of a book of submitted stories. I decided to just drop it. I got lots of other books to read.
