This is an AWESOME takedown of rainbow capitalism and AI in creative spaces. Chuck Tingle has always been a stellar writer, but holy shit, this is fantastic.
It really leans into a paranormal angle at first, and it’s definitely along the lines I was thinking, but the execution turned the expected turnout into something more. It was fascinating to listen to, with two varying perspectives, a lot to make the reader question the reality of what they were being told. It’s an unreliable narrator situation done in the best possible way.
I also really liked the flashback sequences that showed where horror comes from, and why it’s so good to write and release and share.
