i actually ended up liking this a lot. it emphasizes a lot on how actions define people, and how striving for helping others is top-tier. even the smallest things you do can alter the course of someone’s life, both good and bad.
like this dude’s life was spent trying to make others happy but when he lost everything, he lost EVERYTHING. he couldn’t deal with it and spent YEARS just. fucked up. became a NEET and everything. being isekai’d turned his life around.
at first i was wary that it might end up being like, an ecchi harem thing, but… episode 1. he literally can’t touch girls. can’t do anything with them. just sort of resigned himself to the trauma of his past. i thought, well, they’ll get around it, i’m sure.
nah dude he calls out the character designs and then becomes a surrogate father figure slash guiding hand to his new pals. like legit he sees his purpose in life as letting someone else take the credit and to point the way to bettering things for these people and the world.
i don’t imagine everyone will enjoy it but i thought it ended up being cute.
