Bro I started writing this right in the middle of the episode. When does it become enjoyable?
I watched through episode one. It’s one of those series that could have benefitted from in media res but here we are, just… voiceover explaining the entire concept of the world. It’s a video game, they are super into roleplaying, the world is shaped by players, etc etc. Old man main, actually a school-age boy, disappears (along with the other “Elders”?) and then the episode switches to a silent montage of nearly naked loli girl walking around and testing the world. No characterization except lingering almost-ecchi shots and her doing cute-girl moe things, like eating or adjusting the loose robes on the shoulder.
I got bored really fast. I have some volumes of this series that I might try, but it’s been a minute since I just checked out in the middle of episode one.
