I’m fascinated by this manga.
Here we have Eiko Abu who studies the people around her with an intense fervor in order to become closer to what people would consider normal. It’s her hobby and what she strives to do in everything… however, only knowing the interpretation of normal from others, she doesn’t possess the ability to define normal and abnormal without guidance.
She goes to some really out-there lengths to achieve normal. It includes destroying other people if needed, or learning coding in a single night in order to fit expectations. She wrecks a guy an then fucking… proposes marriage, in order to fit the right milestones for women her age.
I’m fascinated. Like Eiko studying every movement and interaction under a microscope, I want to put her under a microscope.
