i’ll be honest. instead of reading, i’ve been playing minecraft. or reading library books. or manga. i’ve had a bad Health Experience in September that’s essentially redirected my life for better or worse, so that’s what I’m going to be dealing with for the next while. I’m more than a bit disconcerted because medical bills kicked the shit out of my finances, so on the good end, I’m not bringing any new books into the fold.
and on the bad end, well. i will be running on very little money for the foreseeable future so i’ll be very careful with what i spend. i may go on a Read Em All journey. Or I may just say fuck it, who knows. i’ve reevaluated some repeat expenses and my reading sub was one of them (i wasn’t using it anyway). i would sub again if i can read all the books i currently have AND have a more regular greater income.
i will have more time to devote to consuming media, but will i actually use it for consuming media? we will see. so far i have not really done much of the sort.
